MEET THE MAKER
Tom Wood (born 1955)
Wood is a Yorkshire-born artist, known for his imaginative and allusive abstract and figurative work. His one-man show in Halifax in 1987 gave rise to a number of portrait commissions including one from HRH Prince Charles. He continues to work from his studio in West Yorkshire, producing work that draws inspiration from his surroundings, and the best traditions of 20th century British art.
