In the penultimate part of our interior trends report for Spring 2016, we're going green.  As the landscape around us comes back to life, and it feels like Spring might finally have sprung, it's the perfect colour to lift our spirits and brighten our homes.  We've found some great ways to use the colour of the moment.  Read on for inspiration...

Trend 3: Spring Greens

At this time of year, it just feels right to bring the outdoors indoors for a welcome burst of nature. Green is such a calming colour, making it the perfect way to bring instant tranquillity to your home. Bright, fresh greens are the tones to go for, as they work particularly well with neutrals, blues and greys. Continuing the trend, rattan is making a comeback, with houseplants following closely behind (you heard it here first!).

Get the look:

Foliage pots - £12 each
These clever little pots are ideal for the less green-fingered among us – dotted around the home they bring life to any corner and are almost indestructible.

Green giant mugs - £10 each
Start the day happy with this zingy green mug. It’s oversized and perfect for everything from breakfast cereals to soups.

Green Candy Stripe Blanket - £95
Bold stripes are another trend to watch this Spring, and this blanket is a great way to introduce them without inducing eyestrain.

Green tumblers - £5 each

These smart tumblers are perfect for summer evenings in the garden and equally at home bringing a welcome pop of colour to your dining table.

Even if it's not quite warm enough to venture outdoors this weekend, you'll still find lots of ideas to bring Spring into your home in our online store.  Have a great weekend.
